Dr. P. S. Pasricha - Chairman, EIPR Group

Dr. Pasricha was Former Director General of Police, Maharashtra State. In his illustrious career, he was in charge of the Intelligence, Crime, CID Wing. Dr. Pasricha has earned his Ph.d in Traffic Management.

Mr. V. N. Deshmukh - Chief Advisor

Shri V.N. Deshmukh completed his M.A. in English and American Literature from Nagpur University in 1967 and served for two years as a Lecturer in English in Vidarbha Mahavidyalaya.

After initial training at Nasik and Dhule, he worked in Satara and Akola Districts as Deputy Superintendent of Police. In 1976, he was promoted out of turn based on record and was posted to Mumbai as Deputy Commissioner of Police.

In Uniform service, he served at Sangli, Akola, Aurangabad and Mumbai in the capacity of Superintendent of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Additional Commissioner of Police and Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order.

He served with the intelligence Bureau for 10 years in two stints of 5 years each and was Joint Director, SIB, Mumbai. He worked as DCP, Special Branch-I and Additional Commissioner of Police, Special Branch in two different stints viz. 1982 to 1984 and 1991 to 1995 respectively. Out of his total service of 36 years, he spent almost 20 years in intelligence work.

He retired from the Police Force as Additional Director General of Police and was Commissioner, State Intelligence Department in the last assignment. He was given 3 months extension beyond retirement to complete the Coastal Security Scheme for Maharashtra which he did complete in time.

During his tenure with Intelligence Bureau, he under-went two specialized trainings with the British Police.

During his Police career he was awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service, President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Mahatma Gandhi Award for Communal Harmony.
